Welcome to Family Mediator. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application for family mediation and conflict resolution. By downloading, installing, or using Family Mediator, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Description of Service

Family Mediator is a mobile application that allows users to facilitate family communication and resolve conflicts using AI-powered mediation technology. The app processes mediation sessions locally on your device and provides conflict resolution tools, communication guidance, and progress tracking features.

User Accounts

Family Mediator does not require user accounts or registration. All app functionality is available without creating an account.

Subscription Services

Family Mediator offers premium subscription services that provide additional features and capabilities:

Premium Features:

  • Unlimited mediation sessions and conflict resolution tools
  • Advanced AI-powered mediation guidance
  • Detailed progress analytics and insights
  • Multiple family group management
  • Export mediation reports and summaries
  • Priority customer support
  • Advanced communication templates
  • Conflict resolution plan templates

Subscription Plans:

  • Monthly Plan: $4.99 per month
  • Annual Plan: $39.99 per year (Save 33%)
  • Lifetime Plan: $99.99 one-time payment

Subscription Terms:

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and turn off auto-renewal in your Account Settings after purchase
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription

In-App Purchases

Family Mediator offers various in-app purchases to enhance your experience:

Available Purchases:

  • Premium subscription plans (as described above)
  • Additional mediation session credits
  • Premium conflict resolution templates
  • Advanced communication tools

Purchase Terms:

  • All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by law
  • Prices may change at any time with notice
  • Purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • You agree to pay all charges at the prices then in effect

Free Trial

Family Mediator may offer free trial periods for premium features:

  • Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled
  • You can cancel at any time during the trial period
  • Trial periods are limited to one per user per feature

Refund Policy

Refunds for subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled according to the following policies:

  • iOS Users: Refunds are processed through Apple's App Store refund system
  • Android Users: Refunds are processed through Google Play Store policies
  • Contact the respective app store for refund requests
  • We do not process refunds directly

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
  • Use the app to facilitate harmful or abusive behavior
  • Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
  • Share your subscription with others
  • Use the app to manipulate or coerce family members

Family Mediator and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Mediation Accuracy and Limitations

While we strive to provide helpful mediation tools, Family Mediator is not a substitute for professional therapy or legal advice. The app provides guidance and tools, but users should seek professional help for serious family conflicts or legal matters.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Mediation guidance and conflict resolution tools are provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered as professional therapy or legal advice.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Family Mediator be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and posting the new Terms on our website.

For iOS users, these Terms are in addition to Apple's App Store Terms of Service. You acknowledge that:

  • Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services

  • Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party intellectual property infringement claims
  • You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo
